Recently, Verge released a report that states that Facebook could announce the new brand name next week i.e, October 28, 2021 at Facebook’s Connect conference. “We will effectively transition from people seeing us as primarily being a social media company to being a metaverse company, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told to Verge in July. The rebranding would include the creation of a new parent company and the social media apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram would become subsidiaries.
